Parenting Support

A lot of the parents I see are wanting support:

  • Helping their big feeling kid(s) with emotional expression and regulation

  • Navigating setting compassionate limits and boundaries (be it around screen time/bed time/school work etc)

  • Breaking generational cycles and parenting differently than they were parented

  • Managing feelings hopeless, unmotivated, worried, and/or disconnected in parenting

  • Co-parenting through a separation/divorce

  • Adjusting to a new developmental stage/milestone

With Parenting Support, you will…

Strengthen the bond between you and your child(ren)

Better understand your child(ren)’s communications and behaviors

Explore concrete tools to help you navigate the tough moments

Get started with Parenting Support

Being a parent is the hardest and most important job in the world—every day you have to wake up and have your heart out there walking around the world. That’s super cliché and also very TRUE.  Something that is talked about a little less, but is just as true, is that being a parent can be an incredibly lonely experience. In my work with parents, I aim to change that—in me you will have a teammate, supporter, and a guide. I will work alongside you to strengthen the bond between you and your child(ren), helping you understand their communication and behaviors through the lens of connection, emotional safety, and normal development.

Together, we will explore how your child’s needs are expressed (sometimes in challenging ways) and how your own experiences as a parent influence the relationship. Using practical tools rooted in attachment theory, emotional regulation, and collaborative problem solving, we focus on building secure, trusting connections that support your child’s growth — and your confidence as a parent. Sometimes this work will involve concrete changes in household rules and expectations. Other times it will be about shifting the goals of conversations from trying to convince to trying to understand.

No matter what we are doing, this work will never be about being a “perfect parent.”—no such thing. It’s about deepening your understanding of yourself and your child, staying connected through the hard moments, and strengthening the foundation of safety, love, and trust that will be your child(ren)’s guiding light through life.
